National Recovery Month Art Competition


In celebration of National Recovery Month THRIVE Recovery Centers will hold an Art Competition! We are asking the community to submit original works that represent the themes of Hope, Gratitude, and the Gift of Life in Recovery. Entries will be voted on by the public throughout the month of September, with selected winners to permanently decorate the walls of THRIVE (both Hauppauge and Westbury).

-       All paintings must be dry.

-       All framed works must be wired unless the work is oversized or has a cleat.

-       All photos must be mounted or framed.

Our Operating Agencies

Family & Children’s Association (FCA) leads the operations and oversight of THRIVE Recovery Community and Outreach Center in partnership with the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (LICADD), Long Island Recovery Association (LIRA), and Families in Support of Treatment (F.I.S.T.). THRIVE is funded by the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and through private contributions.
